Granite

No matter how you choose to use it, granite rock is a durable and attractive material that can add beauty and functionality to your outdoor space. Seaside Mulch offers 3/4″ and 1/4″ size granite.

Landscape edging: Granite rock is a durable and attractive material for landscape edging. It can be used to create borders around flower beds, trees, and other landscaping features. To use granite rock for landscape edging, simply dig a shallow trench around the area you want to edge and then fill the trench with the rocks. You can use 3/4″ granite rock for larger areas, and 1/4″ granite rock for smaller areas.

Pathway material: Granite rock can also be used to create pathways in your yard or garden. To do this, simply lay down a layer of geotextile fabric to prevent weeds from growing through the rocks, and then spread a layer of granite rock over the fabric. You can use 1/4″ granite rock for smaller paths, and 3/4″ granite rock for larger paths.

Mulch: Granite rock can also be used as mulch around trees and shrubs. It helps to suppress weeds and retain moisture in the soil. To use granite rock as mulch, simply spread a layer of rocks around the base of the tree or shrub, making sure to leave a few inches of space between the rocks and the trunk of the tree or shrub. You can use 1/4″ granite rock for smaller trees and shrubs, and 3/4″ granite rock for larger trees and shrubs.

Drainage material: Granite rock can also be used as drainage material around foundations and patios. It helps to prevent water from pooling around these structures, which can cause damage. To use granite rock as drainage material, simply create a trench around the foundation or patio and fill the trench with the rocks. You can use 3/4″ granite rock for this application.

Decorative accent: Granite rock can also be used as a decorative accent in your yard or garden. For example, you can use it to create a rock garden, or you can use it to fill in empty spaces in your flower beds. You can use 1/4″ or 3/4″ granite rock for this application, depending on the desired effect.
